About us

Christianity Explored, based in Harley Street, London, UK, is a ministry to present the Gospel and train people to share the Gospel. It focuses on the Cross, what the Bible says about the identity, mission and call of Jesus and invites honest questioning in a visitor-friendly format.

Rico Tice, Evangelist

Rico Tice did not have a particularly religious upbringing, but is now an associate minister at All Souls Church, Langham Place [external site] in London.

Born in Chile, he spent his early years in Uganda and Zaire before being educated in England. Rico spent a gap year working at a church in inner city Liverpool, then studied history at Bristol University (where he was captain of the rugby team).

After working for Hewlett Packard for a while, he went on to attend theological college at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.

Barry Cooper, Writer

Barry Cooper was born in Epsom, Surrey, and studied English Literature and Language at St Catherine's College, Oxford.

After graduating with honours, he trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and began a seven-year acting career. At the same time, he completed a church placement in London's East End, and spent several years leading on CYFA youth camps in the UK.

Barry has written course material for Christianity Explored, as well as training and speaking. He is the presenter of the 'Discipleship Explored' DVD, launched in October 2008. He is currently studying in Chicago for an MA in Christian Studies.
